Summary

Ivy Green Villa is a good example of a Regency house. It was built around 1830 in red brick with a hipped black glazed pantile roof with lead rolls. The building itself has a double pile plan with a central entrance hall and a room to each side; the service ranges are situated around the back court. The ground floor was replaced in the late 19th century, and there is a wooden and zinc verandah across the facade.
