Summary

A Roman dolphin brooch, part of an Early Saxon brooch, a medieval coin and a groat of Henry VIII minted between 1547 and 1551 were found here by metal detecting. A lump of copper alloy was also found.

Roman dolphin brooch, spring mechanism type 1st century.
Early Saxon cruciform brooch (small) with cast-in-knobs, very flat bow, intact single pin-lug and catch plate. Foot missing below catch plate (?old break). See (S1).
