Summary

Fieldwalking in 1994-95 recovered a large quantity of Roman and Iron Age pottery sherds, including pieces of samian and greyware. Fragments of Saxon Thetford and Ipswich Ware were also found, along with prehistoric flint scrapers.

January 1994. Fieldwalking finds.
Large concentration Roman and Iron Age sherds and Roman roofing tile, especially on natural mound to southeast.
Other finds include medieval imported pottery.
