Summary

Nos 14 and 16 are a house built in 1793, with an attached office built around 1880. Constructed of red brick, with a gault brick façade, this two torey house is divided into three bays. The sash windows were replaced in 1880, and there is a hipped roof. The 1880 addition is two storeys high and also divided into three bays. Insider of this, the first floor rear room has a coved ceiling and a gasolier, and the office has cast iron spiral stairs.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House of 1793 with attached office of 1880. Red brick, gault brick facade three bays, two storeys and dormers. Sash windows replaced in 1880. Hipped roof. South wall has tall blank rounded niche. Rear wall with basement owing to fall in ground...1880 addition is two storeys, three bays. Interior has four centred panelled archway to staircase hall and ornate staircase. Ground floor south room with fireplace of fluted engaged columns and frieze. First floor rear room with coved ceiling and gasolier. Office has cast iron spiral stairs."
