Summary

No 18 is a mid-18th-century house, altered in the early 19th century. This two-storey building is of brick and flint, with a black glazed pantile roof. The entrance passage is a groin vaulted narthex, which formerly led to staircase. The original ornate stairs are now relocated to the south.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Mid 18th-century house, altered early 19th century. Brick and flint, black glazed pantiles, three bays. Two storeys and attic. Central door with fanlight. Sashes have metal glazing bars. Much flintwork in gable walls. Entrance passage is groin vaulted narthex which formerly led to staircase; original ornate stairs now relocated to south."
