Summary

A possible prehistoric burnt mound was found by a farmer in 1994. Metal detecting recovered four Roman coins, and Roman, Middle Saxon, medieval and post medieval metal objects.

4 Roman coins, 1 ?brooch and1 nail/pin.
1 Middle Saxon pin.
1 medieval strap end, 1 buckle frame and 2 lead pot mends.
1 medieval/post-medieval vessel fragment.
1 post-medieval candle stick shaft fragment, 2 lead trade weights (1; 4oz, 1; 10oz) and 1 lead weight.
1 undatable unidentifed object and 2 lead wieghts.
