Summary

A World War Two small hexagonal Type 22/AM pillbox survives in good condition here. This variety is unique to West Raynham in Norfolk.

March 2026. HER Enhancement: Forestry Commission Project K.
Assessment of recent aerial photography available in Google Earth (S3) could not locate this pillbox.
Location cannot be observed via Google Street View (S4).
Digital scans of 1946 aerial photography (S2) revealed other buildings in the vicinity but could not locate this pillbox.
However, HLS scoring in 2011 indicated this is an extant structure.
