Summary

The Grange dates to the 18th century, and has the date 1749 marked on a sundial set in to the front wall, although the building may be slightly older than this. The house is made of flint and brick with a pantiled roof, and is rectangular in plan. It was enlarged in the 20th century and has a façade of four bays in two storeys, all of flint. There is are two gable end chimenystacks, and an off-centre axial chimneystack.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House. 18th century (date of 1749 on sundial set in front wall). Flint and brick. Pantiled roof. Rectangular in plan with outshut to rear, enlarged 20th century and with a second gable. Façade of four bays, two storeys, of flint."

Large house created from a smaller building. Sundial dated 1749, which may be the date of the original build though this could be nearer 1700. Enlarged around 1770.
