Summary

Metal-detecting at this location between 1994 and 2025 recovered medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval token and a range of other metal objects, including a Roman plate brooch; part of an Early Saxon brooch; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness mount and copper alloy unidentified object; a medieval/post-medieval purse bar, scabbard chape and copper alloy ring and post-medieval coin weights, a bodkin, end cap from scale-tang knife, drop handle from drawer pull and elaborate pipe tamper.

Median fine groove on bow, transverse grooves above and below bow. Worn catchplate. Ancient breaks.

Medieval/post-medieval copper alloy ring.
Post-medieval button, hooked tag, strap clasp, coin weight and end cap from scale-tang knife.

1 post-medieval token, a coin weight, bodkin, drop handle from drawer pull and elaborate copper alloy pipe tamper (in the form of a forearm with a hand gripping a rolled-up scroll).
