Full Description
Tollhouse, Setchey.
Single storey carrstone and yellow brick building with slate roof. Half-polygonal bay to road. Marked on Faden's map 1797 as 'T.Pike Gate'. Building is not listed and has a fresh appearance so may have been restored.
Seen only in passing.

In fact the building is a reconstruction of 1979 ten feet (3m) back from the original site, the foundations whereof remain.
