Summary

This two storey timber-framed building has a gable to the road on the west. Running north from the gable level is a single storey wing with a shaped brick gable. A blocked recess in this is said to be where the stocks were kept. The building is thought to date to the early to late 17th century.

Listed (S1) as Nos 1-2 The Street and described as No 1 probably early 17th century timber frame with large brick east stack now incorporated into No 2, later 17th century. Two storeys and attic. Single storey wing to north.
