Full Description
November 1994. Metal detecting. General finds.
Late Saxon side link from bridle, fragment of triangular terminal with three bosses, central boss, rest missing.
?Medieval silver sheet in form of quatrefoil with projecting 'arm', pierced holes and pecked ornament. ?Function. Width 21mm, length of arm 13mm.
Gilded base of sword belt-mount. Ring terminal (broken) for attachment to scabbard-mount. Quatrefoil above animal head, modelled in relief. Chape part broken off. ?Date, ?mount. two circular holes, concave roughly finished reverse. Central transverse double cordon. Short length of cordon with central grooves at each end. Length 40m, width 19mm.

Surface find in north-west corner of field, at approx. [1]
Rounded flint scraper on thick (probably thermal) flake c. 60mm in diameter. Pale grey flint with greyish-white patina and spotty iron staining. Possibly Neolithic.
