Summary

Three sides of a large rectangular ditched enclosure are visible on the ground and on aerial photographs. The enclosure may be the remains of a medieval moated site.

Three sides of large rectangular ditched earthwork northeast of parish church. West side either hidden or removed by road. Drainage earthworks further east are irregular and unlike this.
Seen on ground by C. Yardley (NCC) who states ditches are 1.2m to 1.5m (4 to 5 feet) deep.
?Moated site.
