Summary

A large number of medieval pottery sherds, as well as Roman and post-medieval pottery sherds and medieval and post-medieval roof tiles fragments were recovered in the 1980s. Metal-detecting in 2014 recovered Roman brooches and a finger ring; medieval buckles and a folding strap clasp; a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragment and lead weight and a post-medieval harness mount.
