Summary

Metal-detecting between 1995 and 2013 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and tokens and Early Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Early, Middle and Late Saxon brooches; an Early Saxon wrist clasp; a Middle/Late Saxon strap-end; a medieval mirror case and post-medieval weights. The Early Saxon finds suggest that this may be the site of an Early Saxon cremation cemetery.
