Summary

Fieldwalking on this site by the Black Carr Research Group has recovered concentrations of prehistoric burnt flint, prehistoric worked flints Beaker and Iron Age pottery fragments, Roman and medieval pottery. Several concentrations of material have been identified suggesting there were two small prehistoric sites in this field and also areas of Roman and medieval activity.
