Small area of floated water meadow earthworks noted on 1946 RAF air photographs. Presently arable.
Arthur Young reported landscape improvements by Sylvanus Bevan on the Riddlesworth Estate in the late 18th century.
By 1804 there were 19 hectares with another 6 under construction, supposedly by the enigmatic 'Mr Brooks'.
Compare to West Tofts (NHER 31157) and Lynford (NHER 31242).
