Summary

Fieldwalking on this site by the Black Carr Research Group has recovered two fragments of prehistoric burnt flint, and large numbers of Roman pottery fragments in a range of fabrics. This is evidence of Roman settlement on this site and may be part of the same scatter as NHER 29171.
