Summary

Metal detecting recovered a number of medieval and post medieval finds. These include part of a 13th century buckle frame fragment, parts of two strap end, an Elizabeth half groat and a James I token.

13th century buckle frame fragment, convex with cast relief leaf-scroll decoration.
Medieval gilded bronze fitting and pierced square lobe and two arms (rest broken) ?buckle fragment.
Medieval cast crescentric front-plate of strap-end with elaborate trefoil terminal and engraved linear ornament on crescentric body of strap-end. Four rivets, sheet back-plate missing.
Medieval strapend with tiny lobed terminal, scalloped top edge and one rivet.
