Full Description
Milestone.
Outside Keepers Cottage on road along east side park.
Stone, with cornice and chamfered corners. Incised 'Blicking, in italics, 1 Gunton V'.
Interesting in that it is not attached to a turnpike road but apparently erected by owners of Hall to indicate distance to Gunton Hall. Late 18th century.
Unlike NHER 31288 and NHER 31289 this example is not listed.
E. Rose (NLA) 6 July 1995.
