November/December 1994. Metal detector finds.
Very splendid medieval shield-shaped harness pendant, with red-enamelled shield in centre, and eight red enamelled birds around.
Found a few feet from a gilded elaborate attachment bar for pendant. H-shaped lug and pierced lobed terminals. In centre a quatrefoil field with three leaves on stems.
