Summary

Metal detecting recovered a 14th century seal matrix and a post medieval token made in Norwich. The seal matrix depicts a curled-up lion and is inscribed with the motto 'AMY AMETLEVMENT' (friend loves loyally).

Lovely 14th century circular bronze seal matrix with loop on reverse. Curled up lion in centre within stella form frame made with 2 interlocking squares. AMY AMETLEVMENT (= Friend loves loyally).
