Summary

Fieldwalking in 1995 recovered some 339 worked flints, including a ?Mesolithic pick; an Early Neolithic leaf arrowhead and possible laurel leaves; Neolithic axehead roughouts and at least one Late Neolithic/Early Bronze plano convex knife. The bulk of the assemblage was however not closely datable, although it was noted that some of the fresher pieces could potentially be a recent as Early Iron Age.
