Summary

Two ditches of uncertain date containing prehistoric flint implements were revealed during an evaluation carried out by the Norfolk Archaeological Unit in 1995. A medieval coin has also been found on this site.

September 1995. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation in advance of development of former allotments.
Two narrow, parallel gullies were identified in one trench. These features had pale fills and produced small quantities of prehistoric worked flint.

1998. Surface find.
Garden of 7 Fulcher Avenue (not on OS but stated by Cromer Museum to be one of the new roads built on this site.
