Summary

A house with late 16th to early 17th century beams. It has a brick gable and a rear extension of about 1700. The façade and attic are of about 1800 and stencilled wallpainting of about the same date can be seen in the east room of the first floor.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Early 17th century with alterations. Early 19th-century red brick front, three storey, three sash windows, at first floor, with glazing bars and flat arches. Early 19th-century shop front slightly projecting at ground floor. Segmental arch to coachway under right to Cross Keys Hotel yard at rear.
Interior: stop chamfered, hewn beams."

The location of this record has been corrected. Previously it was erroneous mapped to the west of No 4 Market Place, which is actually No 5.
