Map

Timber framed house of three basic periods. Including a mid to late 17th century block, hall and services with upper floor and east gable stack, following cross-passage plan despite the late date. Soon afterwards a new staircase blocked the passage and a lobby entrance was formed. In the early 18th century a two cell two storey timber framed east extension was added, probably for servants use, and around the same time a timber framed kitchen wing with brick gable and stack was constructed. In the mid 18th century, and again in the 19th, some walls were replaced in brick. Converted to two cottages in the 19th century, restored 20th century.
