Summary

Metal detecting has recovered a wide range of finds dating from the Iron Age to the post medieval period. These include Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post medieval coins. The Iron Age silver coins are unusual because they come from central and western Gaul not East Anglia. A Roman brooch, a medieval seal matrix and a side plate from an early post medieval candle snuffer were also found.
