Summary

Metal detecting on this site between 1995 and 2009 has recovered Iron Age and Roman coins, Early Saxon brooches and a gilt mount, a Middle or Late Saxon strap end and Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post medieval coins. A Neolithic polished flint axehead and other late prehistoric flint tools have also been recovered, as well as Romano-British, medieval and post medieval pottery sherds.
