Summary

In 1995 a medieval copper alloy key was found in the garden of this property. This well-preserved example had an oval openwork bow with a St Andrew's cross in centre.

Medieval bronze key, hollow stem, oval openwork bow with St Andrew's cross in centre, and projecting knob at top. Moulding at top of shank. Toothed and grooved wards [2].
