Location

Map sheet TG50NW
Civil Parish GREAT YARMOUTH, GREAT YARMOUTH, NORFOLK

Map

Shulvers Mill.
Located in reference (S1) from a map of 1842 on the west side of Beccles Road opposite the Greyhound Inn and behind a bakery. The first edition 1 inch Ordnance Survey of 1838 shows a vague blob at this location that is probably intended for the windmill symbol.
It was gone before the 1906 Ordnance Survey map and possibly before 1905 as the bakers shop had moved by then.
E.Rose (NLA), 8 January 1996.
