Information from (S1).

January 1996. Visit.
Dates to early 19th century by (S1), 3 storeys, plastered.
Vehicle arch to right of mid 19th-century shop front; 3 windows above with flush frames, top storey has glazing bars remaining. Two-storeyed angled wing to west with shop windows on both floors.
However, a small rear wing projecting north from the building towards a 19th-century factory was briefly seen.
This wing has expanded wallposts at the north corners, and supporting a tiebeam a short distance to the south.
Inverted arched braces rise from the posts to the wallplates and to the tiebeam which is contained within a partition. Studwork is visible.
The scantling of the timbers suggests a late 16th-century date.
E. Rose (NLA), 19 January 1996.
