Winter 1995. Metal detecting. [1].
Very sparse in any finds.
Bronze medieval buckle, D-shaped frame, tapering pin, sheet plate with four rivet holes and central hole.
Bronze post medieval rowel spur, part of.
Identified by A. Rogerson (NLA), 22 January 1996.
1996. Casual fieldwalking. Field formerly divided into four fields. [2].
'Brightes' (south part of field) and 'Horse Close' (north).
Two body sherds finely gritted hard fired, ?Iron Age (found southeast of pit).
One very battered ?storage jar with applied strip, Thetford type? Weight 32g.
Six medieval unglazed sherds.
Two Glazed Grimston sherds.
Two undated sherds (one reduced grey, one pinkish).
Four post medieval sherds (two stoneware, one Glazed Red Earthenware, one black glazed).
'Horse Close':
Two Glazed Grimston sherds.
One ?Glazed Grimston sherds.

At location [4], between beans and beet in line with trackway:
Notched piece. Large thin tertiary flake with waisted form die to previous flake scars; the concavity on the left side has been enhanced by retouch to form a notch. Undatable prehistoric.
