Summary

A two storey whitewashed rendered timber framed farmhouse of about 1700, the left gable end replaced in stone, with a pantile roof and later additions and alterations.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"About 1700, altered 19th to 20th century. Timber frame with left hand gable replaced in stone. Black pantile catslide roof with central ridge stack and projecting right stack. Late lobby entrance plan with contemporary rear pentise.Two storeys and attic. Windows and door mostly 20th century."

One might well say, an extraordinary feature and ask how it is physically possible. Is the attic floor an insertion? Also, is the gable wall really stone; if so, where did it come from, or flint?
