Map

1995. Site visit.
19th century facade to house but yard at rear suggests two earlier building phases, perhaps dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. Wall of back yard is built from much reused material including carstone and conglomerate blocks cut to shape, and at least one piece of limestone. A segment of a medieval column in Barnack stone lies in the yard. This limestone may be from the church to north (NHER 3372).
See file for NHER 3373, (S1) and (S2).
It seems likely that this building is the successor to Fincham's Manor (NHER 3373) immediately to the west.
E. Rose (NLA), 25 January 1996, amended A. Cattermole (King's Lynn UAD), 25 April 2019.
