Summary

In 1996 a series of ditched enclosures, one rather 'moat-like' but with an irregular interior platform, were recorded on this site. Two sherds of possible medieval pottery were also recovered.

1996. Series of ditched enclosures, one rather 'moat-like' but with irregular interior platform. Layout does not suggest simple drainage and the depth of the ditches of the moat are up to 2m, with a width of 11m.
