Circular lead seal matrix, diameter 40mm, with damaged tab for possible suspension loop above '+' and central octofoil/eight-spoked wheel.
Legend + SIGILL' RADVLPH LVGARD, 'Seal of Ralph Lugard'. 13th century, (S2).
Note that in the (S1) entry for Croxton (II, 154) there is a rector Roger Lugwardyne (1337-1349, who might well be connected (DG).
