Summary

A 17th and 18th century brick house that may originally have been timber framed. The building was divided into two until the mid 20th century, and has substantial 20th century alterations, especially in the interior.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House, 17th/18th century. Painted brick, plastered at rear. Steep pantile roof with coped gable end, west end slightly lower pitch. Two storeys and attic...Ground floor No. 35 has two small 20th-century shop windows, one on left bowed, glazed door between...No. 35 has gabled dormer with three-light casement. Large 20th-century flat roof wing at rear of No. 35."

Now one building, east end is timber framed about 1600? mostly replaced in brick about 1800. To west is return of a removed brick firegable which may have belonged to this house or more probably to No.35, a single cell building, probably mid 17th century. Much altered in 20th century - little of interior remains.
