Found in area centred at [2] (now Context 1):
Middle Saxon strap end.
Late Saxon strap end.
Medieval finger ring, buckles, seal matrix.

January-May 2010. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey of proposed development area (Field 6).
The survey revealed medieval and post-medieval pottery and an assemblage of struck flint of Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date including flakes, blades and scrapers.

These finds are associated with only a relatively imprecise six-figure grid reference ([4]). Although this lands beyond the boundary of this site they were most likely from this field.
