24 May 1996. Site visit. Very low-lying area stripped of topsoil by toothed ?bulldozer/excavator (not seen in action).
No features seen, but three sherds found on spoil heaps.
One late medieval glazed jug base.
Two glazed red earthenware.
Identified by A. Rogerson (NLA).
The mineral from this area is being extracted to form a fishing lake.
