October 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Aerial photographs taken in 1946 showed the cropmarks of several sub-rectangular enclosures at this location (S1-S3). The site is centred on TL 9576 9440, and consists of linear ditches which are visible as cropmarks and slight earthworks.
It is possible that they relate to medieval to post medieval enclosures or field boundaries. They have been recorded largely due to their location, in close proximity to the medieval moated site NHER 14456, but it is also possible that they represent post medieval drainage features and therefore are of more recent origin.
E. Ford (NMP), 25 October 2012.
