Summary
In 1996 during a metal detecting rally objects from the Iron Age to post medieval period were recovered. The artefacts include an Iron Age Iceni coin, twelve Roman coins, Roman brooches, a Roman hair pin, a Middle or Late Saxon pin head, a medieval ampulla and a 12th or 13th century heraldic pendant.
