July 1996.
Scatter of burnt flints (sample of 3 large fire-crazed flints seen).
34 struck flints, including Neolithic flakes, 1 blade, 1 thumbnail scraper.
3 sherds Roman pottery, 2 grey jar rims, 1 body sherd samian.
Identified D. Gurney and E. Rose (NLA).
