Summary

Before 1996 a Roman coin of Hadrian was recovered from this site. It is also said that foundations of unknown nature or date were found here and extend over Caen Hill to the south, but the details of this are obscure.

Before 1996. Found in garden of Holly Cottage.
'Perfect Roman coin with name Hadrianus'.
Owner [1] of this address but who left Norfolk 2 August 1996, new address unknown. He may have shown the coin to NCM before he went.
Informant [2] who also speaks of foundations found here and extending over Caen Hill to south, but details of this are obscure.
