Summary

Metal detecting in 1995 and 1996 recovered a number of finds from the Roman to post medieval periods, including a Late Saxon box or stirrup mount fragment, and an early post medieval handle escutcheon or sword belt fitting. A small number of worked flints were also recovered at this time.
