Oval cropmark.
D. Edwards (NAU)

This is more an irregular circle than oval; it is a wide white mark and is very odd.
Could it be geological? Note the number of ponds in wood immediately north. If not it is very interesting.

March 2022. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A sub-oval feature (see above) is seen as cropmark on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The feature has previously been interpreted as a possible oval or circular enclosure. However, it is likely that the feature is natural in origin. Therefore, the feature has not been mapped by the project. The monument polygon has been slightly amended to reflect the position of the feature as seen on S1.
