Summary

Fieldwalking recovered Neolithic worked flints including flakes, blades, a knife, a burin or graver and a disc scraper. Prehistoric burnt flints and many fragments of prehistoric pottery were also recovered. The site has been interpreted as a prehistoric burnt mound, Neolithic flint working site and an area of Iron Age settlement.
