Full Description
1983.
Finds mostly from west side of road near a small pond.
Large scatter including NHER 19835, 19836, 19838, and overlaps with NHER 19837. Grid reference supplied by [1].
Found by [1]:
1 Early Neolithic leaf arrowhead (incomplete). Snapped at both ends, width 23mm, thickness 3mm. Residual length 40mm. Shallow pressure flaking over whole of both surfaces. Pale grey flint with slight patina.
1 Neolithic arrowhead tip. 15 x 14 x 2mm. Sharp tip, shallow pressure flaking on both faces but some residual flake blank surface on one face. Could be from a leaf or an oblique arrowhead.
1 Neolithic miniature flint adze. See drawing (S1).
?Neolithic flint knife and scrapers earlier found in pipe trench (not seen).
