Summary

Aerial photography from the 1990s recorded the cropmarks of a ring ditch, with slightly expanded terminals at entrance, which may be part of the same group as NHER 29559. Cropmarks also indicate the presence of a circular pit within the causeway of the ring dirch.

OF THE CROPMARKS DESCRIBED BELOW, ONLY THE (POSSIBLY HENGIFORM) RING DITCH AND ACCOMPANYING PIT ARE STILL RECORDED UNDER THIS NUMBER. THE POSSIBLE TRACKWAY IS NOW RECORDED AS PART OF NHER 50862.

Also visible is a linear feature of two parallel ditches - possible trackway, although may be of recent military origin.

Of the cropmarks described above, only the (possibly hengiform) ring ditch and accompanying pit are still recorded under this number. The possible trackway is now recorded as part of NHER 50862.
