The upper stone of a rotary quern was recovered from a foundation trench of Meadow Farmhouse in 1997. The quern may be post medieval in date.

Full Description
1997.
0.6m (2feet) deep in backfill of foundation trench for Meadow Farmhouse. Upper stone of rotary quern, ?millstone grit, with handle holes in top and remains of lead inserts. Post medieval? (S1).
