Summary

Metal detecting and fieldwalking has recovered a wide range of objects dating from the prehistoric to the post medieval period. Finds include a prehistoric hammerstone, a Roman coin and pin, a 14th century belt chape and a post medieval jetton. Fragments of Iron Age and post medieval pottery have also been recovered. Several finds of copper alloy metal working waste have also been recorded.
